I come from a land down under
Was watching the Aussie Muscle Car Masters on TV today and this year they've included a Group A class.

Lo and behold John Smith dragged out his Supra and managed a 3rd or a 4th!

That's awesome! I SO want to build that exact exhaust for my car when it's done!

yes they were along with some other cool stuff. from. gasight on mkIII tech.

Well the cylinder head was hemi-spherical with special valves and springs. The bottom end was basically a stock (but blueprinted) N/A bottom end. They had really nice dry sump systems. You already mentioned the cams and the oil pans. I am sure there are more things but off the top of my head I can't think of anything else.

I am also positive about the N/A blocks but they replaced the stock pistons with short skirt mahle/TRD pistons with full floating pistons. Everytime I try to find out the compression ratio I get different answers so I am not positive about that.

I also found out they used a knife edged crank.

wow that's awesome! i wonder how much that racecar is worth? or how many still exist?

So this is an original group-a racecar? are there any old pictures of this specific car? I've seen quite a few of several cars but i dunno if this is one.
