I have been looking at getting a lightened crank pulley for my 7mgte, but I don't know anyone that is currently running one (or has in the past) is there something wrong with using that crank pulley?

ATI is the only other non-stock pulley I've seen being used. The lightened ones apparently don't have the correct dampening characteristics, hence the term "wet noodle" type crank in those cases. I'd stick with the ATI...

Yup,
ATI or stock.
The POS billet aluminum ones from china look great in pictures,
but have NO dampening !
This will couse you all sorts of problems down the line.

Summit Racing has them (ATI) on their shelf for under $400.
