Going Turbo!

Hey Guys

I recently bought a 7mGTE from a friend of mine for $300

engine runs but I have been told that it has a spun bearing, How hard is that to fix? and any ideas on what i should go before i drop this engine into my car

engine is from a 89 , my car is a 90 non turbo

Just the basics: of course replace all rod and main bearings, get the deck surface's machined and go with a metal head gasket and ARP's.
Get a gasket set and replace every gasket when putting the engine back together.

If I was in your position, I'd rebuild the entire motor and start from there.

I would do a full rebuild. Experience shows to do it right the first time, lol

since the motor is already out of the car, just rebuild it,
you will be happy that you did in the end.

full rebuild is the only way to do this right if it has a spun bearing first thing you are going to need to pull the crank and take it to a machine shop and have them check it out to find out if you need a new crank or not
