this is a continuation from my last thread, i just thought i'd start a new one since it was goin off the topic.

ok well this is my list of what i planned on changing before the swap goes in as well as where i planned on gettin it from.

ENGINE PREP.
- change oil seals /jeff watson
- timing belt /jeff watson
- valve cover gasket /CAN THIS WORK FROM 2JZ?
- oil pan gasket /CAN THIS WORK FROM 2JZ?
- thermostat /CAN THIS WORK FROM 2JZ?
- alternator belt /jeff watson
- 2jz waterpump /local dealer
- oil filter /local dealer
- fuel filter /local dealer
- ngk 6097 sp/have them already

1JZ MODS.
- intake /(still deciding) either blitz ss or hks powerflow
- exhaust /(got muffler already) greddy sp muffler from mk3 supra w/ hopefully custom y pipe, down and 3" exhaust
- bov /(got bov already) hks ssqv w/ custom intercooler piping
- intercooler /(got already) ebay intercooler 24x12x3 thinking about using a stock one.
- fuel pump /(got fp already) walbro 255
- injectors /(dont have yet) jdm 440's
- fpr /(still thinkin about it)
- rear end /(got already) turbo supra auto diff.
- also might be running a greddy emanage on that setup

PARTS I STILL NEED.
- 2 cressida engine mounts
- driveshaft carrier bearing


what suggestions do you guys have. i wanna know what i should do to get the engine ready to install.

The 2jz therostat works just fine...but you can also get the TRD one and open at a lower temp

if you have a late model 89 then the engin mounts will work from it....outher then that. trev has a awsome intake forsale. i think...he has some kool parts. you may ask him what he has...

locate your 2 knock sensors and rewire those with 2.0 usb cable before you drop the motor in =)

hehe. good thing i read that thread about rewiring the knock sensors before i sent the harness out. i made sure i let the guy know about it.

There is no oil pan gasket.

It's FIPG'd on.
