Fuel filter replacement due to rust in injectors

If that's the case the entire fuel system needs replacing not just the filter....

I guess the line forward of the filter is more likely responsible.

IJ has a point.

But this is what my fuel pump looked like after sitting a while. This is worse case scenario though.

It really doesn't take much to drop the tank and have a look see of what's going on in there. It's your call though.
