I'm running 10.5 psi. I get fuel cut when I make a hard 1st to second shift. I don't think its a boost leak. I can turn it down to about 8.5 and still get it on the shift. I can run 12 psi before hitting fuel cut anywhere else, like in first or rolling into the throttle in second or in any other gear. I don't understand why it hits the cut on the shift. If I stay in the gas it will keep hitting it like a damn rev limiter. I know its not the rev limiter because its only at like 4500 rpm. If I roll into it in second I have no problem. If I shift into second and wait for a second before hitting the gas again I don't hit it. Like I said, I can run 12 psi and shift third quite hard with no problem, so I don't see the issue with second. Any Ideas? I have the mods listed below.

Same thing happens to me and alot of people so I understand. Its just one more quirk of the Karmann Vortex mumbojumbo and a reason I'm thinking about going MAFT. I run in between 12psi and 13psi daily and you just gotta let off a little bit on the 1-2 shift. Also try this if you haven't already. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1811
same deal. 12 psi always hitting fuel cut on 1-2 shift. i don't even hit fuel cut under full load in 5 gear but still hit fuel cut at that shift point.
