read somewhere that the 98 through 2000 ford contour fans are the way to do for cheap and effective electric cooling fans. im going to pick one up and wire it in. ive surfed the forum for a post to wire them up. my question is we do have a thermostat cooling switch correct? it works the little fan for the a/c i think. wats it set for and can i just splice into those wires to run the contour cooling fans. do i have to keep the ac on for the fans to kick on? wats that thermostat switch set at? 200 degrees? (if we have one of course. maybe im getting the temp sensor confused. btw i have a 88 7mgte. if we DO have a thermostat switch then i think i can just run a fusable link to the positive of the battery and then run the ground to the thermostat switch. am i making any sense? help me out here lol.
