Right in the middle of my Mkiii build. I'm hooked. I currently drive a 5th Gen Camaro, but as soon as this supra is done, I have a feeling I'll be garaging the Camaro a lot more.

Glad to be part of the forum!

1987 Targa n/a 5spd

A few pics while the car's up on stands.

Pretty sure this is an HKS 75mm Twin Tip. It's definitely not the stock exhaust.

Well I think we can relate. I have a 2nd gen camaro with a very well designed 406 sbc. I love that car but the supra does something for me that my camaro just can't. Not to sure what that is. I guess that's' comparing apples and oranges haha. Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Yup definitely! I find myself starring at the lines of Supra and just yearning to drive it again. I guess it only makes total sense after you get behind the wheel haha

I have a 74 Charger myself, old muscle cars are great fun and pretty to look at but drive like shit compared to the Supras. Not to mention you can always throw a v8 in the supra and have the best of both worlds.

Nice looking supra, best of luck on your build.

Thanks! It's coming along. Gotta right some wrongs the previous owners did. Parts are coming in almost daily, just gotta find the time.

Wow, great quality pictures! I really like them, of course the nice Supra helps too. Welcome to SM.

I appreciate it! I'll definitely have some more photos once it's back on the ground.

Welcome. Fair warning, these cars are utterly addictive

Oh hell ya! I've got some JDM tails on the way, courtesy of a member here. I'm thinking about the pre89 Shineauto lip and some wheels.

Agreed! Even at around 3500lbs, the supra feels like a lightweight fighter compared to my Camaro.

Camaros are like belly buttons... it dont take much more than cash to get one (unless your talking pre 70) : )
Welcome to the rare cool kid club .. lol.

Is it just me.. or does the California plate kinda do something extra...
