I have been told by a mechanic i know about something that Mack designed many many years ago called fire ring. Trying to see if anyone on here knows about it and if they do what "fire ring" is all about and if its something that should be done. The story i got was basic it acts as a double headgasket and no matter what you do to the motor it will never blow a HG again. NEVER! I mean this would complete eliminate the supra's HG problem. I guess the mack motors had the same problem on the trucks they had called firering turcks. Hence the name. Supposedly Fel-pro owns the patent now for it. But if anyone knows some input would be fantastic! Thanks!:biglaugh:
