Ok so I want to get a ffim for 86.5 mk3 but I dont know if it is better to get a custom made one or should I just take the 2jz or 1jz's and cut/weld the bottem end of the 7m's to fit. What do you guys think and know of a place I can get one?

The idea of matching runners between the 7M and JZ series engines has been brought up many times, and attempted a few. I've yet to see one that works. It's not as simple as it sounds, and welding cast aluminum is a PITA.

If its in thailand, I've heard there's issues on fitment with lhd cars. I would recommend getting it custom made so they can cater to your needs. I got mine custom made. Retains alt and ac, I did have to relocate the battery.
