Im in the process of doing a head gasket job on my 91 turbo 7mgte. It is getting alot of upgrades in the process.

Mod list:
cone filter intake with adaptor
full 3 inch wide open exhaust (adding muffler later)
Toyota gaskets and coolent hoses
Arp head bolts
lexus afm
550cc injectors
60 trim ct-26
driftmotion intercooler and piping
hks bov
fidinza flywheel
denso mk4 fuel pump
innovate lc-1 wideband
Greddy E-manage blue
Greddy E-01 boost controller

Now for the questions
1) In theory, How much horsepower should this setup be capable of making?
2) how much boost should this setup be able to handle?
3)I keep hearing that a 60t ct26 wont last long. I would like to upgrade it to something aftermarket. What turbo would be best for me to get to a 500-550 hp goal in the future, without killing my wallet? I was looking at turbonitics but i just dont know what size would be best for my setup.

Thanks for any resonses

Idk about your price range but I think a GT35R T4 Turbo kit is perfect for a 500-600 whp build.

I would think your setup should be good for 370-400whp @ 18-20psi on pump 91-93 octane

You should be looking at Adjustable Fuel pressure regulators for your next mod and getting rid of the stock jtube.

Or you could go with a hx35 turbo
Used on cummins engines
I am looking for 500 HP as well
From what others have told me is that this turbo should be capable
Sometimes you can find them cheap for like $100-200

Only downside would be is your new downpipe wouldn't work on the hx35

i plan on getting a new downpipe if i upgrade the turbo anyway because the one i have now bolts to the stock turbo elbow pattern

I had a Precsion 6152 on my 7m last year. And damn did i love that thing! i made 391 rwhp at only 15lbs. That thing sounded like a jet! and pulled real nice and hard. You can find them used with low miles for around 600. It is worth every penny! the only reason why i sold the 6152 is cause im going for 650 rwhp which is just out of the range of it. So i bought the bigger brother 6766! :)

thats just my .02, i just recomend PTE turbo chargers to evryone now. lol I loved it and cantg wait to use my 6766.
