exhaust cam upgrade only?

am i reading wrong or do i see some people upgrading just the exahust cams?

would that even make sense? i would understand just the intake...but i dont understand why anyone would do one w/o the other.

just wondering if this is common practice.

I dont think this is true - people just talk about the exhaust cams because they have the gears in them to drive the CPS/Distributor. They are harder to find

i've treid just an ex cam and stock intake cam... and believe me you need both....
