engine rebuilt or not?

how to know if a 7mgte are rebuilt( not only head gasket and timing belt) when the entire motor are in the car and work great ? and how to check the head gasket are in rubber or metal head gasket
??

The OEM gasket is a composite, not rubber.

It is difficult to see what the gasket is when installed. A mirror at the RR corner of the engine, looking up at the head might show you something. Side of the car is always from the driver perspective. So right rear is the back side on the passenger side.

so i can see the gasket from passager side near the turbo ? my english is not very good
