The only issue im having with my 1jz swap is a hesitation im having at 3200 rpms. The funny thing about this is when I down shift (say 3rd to second) and the rpms jump above this point its fine. I haven't gotten it tuned yet, and its reading really rich. What has my stumped is why up until 3200 and not 4000 on up? Im hitting 6 lds. of boost, idles fine revs fine until 3200 everytime. My mechanic thinks its my Map sensor, any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

My Mods are MPT70, SAFC2, Walbro 255, MK4 440s, FMIC

It goes pig rich at 3200? There are several threads on cars having hesitation problems at 3xxx and it usually has to do with the fuel pressure and tune, but the car would go full lean for the brief period of time which would cause the hesitation. If you have a fuel pressure regulator make sure you're running at least 43psi (vac off) with the stock ecu, then you should be able to tune out the hesitation from there. Its just a weird spot in a lot of the 1j ecu's.

Im at 40psi with the vaccum off and im still running rich.. You have a little room to play with "fuel wise" due to the fact that you have 2jz 440's.. but adjust carefully and monitor AFR's.. Make sure your AFC isnt Adding Any fuel.

I apologize about the mis comunication, but you hit it on the head. So I need to get an AFPR, that will be next on the list.
