engine bay ign. source

just looking for the best site to plug into for an ign. source in the engine bay for an accessory i installed that requires it.

any ideas? dont wanna take power from injectors since i believe there is ign. power that goes there..

i've searched but nothing came up in the search function. maybe i just dont know how to use it correctly.

You could tap into a wire coming out of the fuse box. For example I have a fuse in there called "TEL" .. since I don't use a car phone .. that's for accessories.

Could always run a wire from the ign or cig lighter or something.

thanks ifyouaint1st and hvyman for the replies. i'll probably check out that TEL fuse and double check i even have it but if its in the engine bay, that seems the most practical spot to get at vs running a wire through the cabin to engine bay.
