I am in the process of disconnecting the 7mgte from my R154. I have all the bolts taken out, and by using a flashlight I can see that all of the pins are out of the tranny, something by the flywheel and the clutch are keeping this thing together. I can rotate the engine but it won't pull it like its stuck. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been opened since 1986. I haven't read of this issue everything I see is that it just simply falls apart. the engine and tranny are both supported as well. I am a little new at this so if its something simple I apologize a head of time I did my research and couldn't find anything. Thank you all for any and all help.

no it is still in the vehicle, I have tried with pressing the clutch, and without I get the same results with both. I know i should take out both the tranny and the engine but I was going to take out the block thats in there in now and replace it with a new freshly machined block. I didn't think it would be this difficult.
