Hello,
I'm sorry to bring up this subject again, but I've tried searching but all I found was this text:
"I have tapped and plugged the EGR holes in the intake and head. I used a longer bolt in the exhaust EGR hole, and then blended the end of the bolt so the #6 runner is smooth now with no EGR port."

In this thread: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?5631-7M-assembly-tips.

But I can't find any other info on this. Is Adjuster the only one who has done this?

I want to do this so that the #6 exh. port is smooth.

My concern is that if I tap the hole and use a regular of the shelf screw, that I will introduce the risk of cracking due to different materials. Should I be worried about this?
What if I make my own screw out of aluminum, would this be an better idea even though I can't get the same kind of aluminum?

Thanks.
