Hey, just would like to know what terminals to jump on the EFI main relay in the relay box under the hood. I know I shouldn't and I won't leave it but I have a hunch that my EFI main is gone and causing me to not start. Cheers.

Why do you want to jump it?

Does it click when you test it electrically? Does it close when tested with a meter? Does the relay have power to the control side and operational side?

Shortcutting certainly takes less time, but take a look at what is shared on that relay before jumping it. And how it is powered. I doubt you have a computer problem, it is very rare. Except for the monkeys on this board. But the wiring from the ECU to the relay could be a problem.

I myself would test the pins, then install a known good relay if you can't test the original.

Yeah I had another look at it, the info on Cygnus didn't match my relay so I had to test it different and it works. My problem is different now. I have eliminated fuel and spark and codes. I have no rpm jump which gives me a good indication that there is something wrong with my CPS. And if that is not then porbs my computer.

Do you have a code for no NE signal?

If the MIL comes on with the key the relay is good. It's as simple as that...

You just had to be difficult by being simple, didn't you...

I used to post lengthy explanations but learned it was usually a waste of time Nick. I could almost see the deer-in-the-headlights look. Or would that be monkey-in-the-headlights? ;)

NE is the rpm signal from the 24 toothed gear. Stands for (N)umber of (E)ngine revolutions...

Just source another one, on Hondas the efi relays would go out. I used to take them apart and check for cracks on the board where it's soldered. Usualy a re solder job would fix it.. Just my .2 tho

Yeah I actually read a little about that. My import specialist @ Killer Customs told me to read up on that.
