so unfortunitly(sp?) i have become the owner of two supras at the same time THIS SUCKS one is a 89 targa turbo manny and the other is a 87 hardtop turbo auto the targa is in kentuky(sp?) the other is in Mass. shipping is gonna be a MAJOR PITA!! any help would be appreciated funds wise i didn't mean to win
both i was on ebay and some jackass was screwing around with me and at the last second retracted his bid and i had already won the hardtop so i wasn't prepared funds wise for this i want both cause they are b-e-a-utiful and both have had recent rebuilds so ARGG!!! this is so...bleh.

You're only allowed to retract your bid within the last 12 hours of the listing if you placed it within an hour or retracting...so that means that presumably you were winning the car within 12 hours of the auction end, and you bought the other car within an hour of him bidding...

I'm only saying this because if it did not happen this way the other bidder may be in violation of ebays terms and you might not be liable for the other car.

something to this affect. what happened was i was bidding on the targa but it got too high so i went after the hardtop as a compromise cause at the time it was my best option well the hardtop ened first then the targa i haven't been at a comp in 2 days so i didn't know till 1 hour ago and when i looked at my account info on ebay and it said i owed nearly correction 5200 i almost fell on the floor i knew i had won the hardtop but not the targa oh boy.

Well, you were outbid, so legally you no longer entitled to that car. You ended up as the high bidder as a result of some else retracting the bid. They are supposed to counter you with a second chance offer once you are outbid and the higher bid flakes. They can't just bill you for it.

You don't have to buy that car. Bring this to EBAY complaint.
