Finally got the chance to get the car on the dyno and try out my new goodies.

I'm maxing out (in my opinion) the capabilities of my fuel injectors, but yielded me 564hp & 510tq.

The engine was pulling so hard to redline, that you can see in the video the motor is torquing out of the engine bay. (Time for new mounts.)

I started tuning AFR's at around 19psi of boost and by the end of the dyno I was boosting 20-21psi.

I don't care what some say, the GT4088 is an amazing turbo and I would recommend it to anyone.

Looks like to me you're gonna have a traction problem ;)

Curves are nice & steep between 4-5K RPM...looks like a bit of "chop" in the lines at peak RPM though. Ignition?

When does the 4088 start to spool?

500+ on 19psi? i didn't think it would flow that much, i thought something bigger would be needed for that. what are your other mods?

I would have guessed a 67mm turbo would be needed for that, Sweet numbers though, maybe will change my turbo plans.

.81 I believe rear housing, it's been some time.

jdub: In real load, it'll spool 1bar by 4300rpms. Ignition was also a concern as to why I stopped early on the dyno. I have a new set of NGK's going in, as the ones in now are .025"

Nose: Boost that got me 500+ was between 20 and 21psi. The engine is a fresh build with .020 over JE's, Crower i-beams, and fresh stock spec head.

Yeah, I'll know where to find you!

For those who don't know, Seth built the FFIM on my car. (Grade A work!)

I'm leaving the piping at 2.5" and stock TB and do 600hp+, there's no doubt in my mind I can do 600+ on this setup with just adding 10 more psi and 680's and A1000.

I'll post when I do.

Haha that is insane!

Seriously your setup would do 600rwhp right now with just a 3" TB and 3" IC pipes!

Keep up the work. I will have to check it out sometime. Just picked up a 92' today!

Thanks,
Seth

Thanks for the compliments!

hott: Thanks. I can't wait to get the 680's in and the A1000.

I've decided to get a fuel cell from summit that's already sumped and do the a1000 or equivalent external pump.

We should all get together soon for a meet in VA or something.
