I'm looking to put down low 600hp, Wich one of these options would be best? The dritfmotion dm67 kit or a precision 6265 both on e85?

1200cc injectors
Dual Bosch 044 intake pumps
-8 an feed
264 cams
4 inch exhaust and DP
Map ecu2
E85
15-30psi of boost

I know the 6265 can do what I want, I wanna know what would be the best route. Also what size hotside housing should I get?

Thanks corey

6265 or 6262 would be a much better choice over the dm 67. the 62's have billet wheels so you would get spool much faster and the 6262 is rated for 680hp and the 6265 is rated for 695hp.
There better quality as well.

Is this for a 1j or a 2j? 1j the .84 housing would be better prolly depending on where you want your power band and how high you want to rev.

Ill be getting the 6262 next month for my 1j with a .68 housing as i dont have cams and am not going to be revving super high yet. I dont really see the need for the 65 turbine wheel for extra lag and a possible 15 more hp.

Also if you can afford it i would get the ball bearing option. Goes from 900 for the journal to 1500 for the bb tho. But that thing would spool stupid quick with ball bearing.

Also you can make your own lines for fairly cheap like under 100 with all the fittings and everything. www.Atpturbo.com has some pretty cheap fittings and i bought the block feed adapter and oil pan flange from dm. The arz machine work is awesome on the pan flange.

Then you just need t4 mani and down pipe. And the intake is super easy to make. The dm kit is a little pricey i think. seeing how if you dont want the turbo its like 800 or something

Quoted for accuracy.

6262 > 6265, especially if you are only shooting for low 600s. The 6262 will get you there and more, also a broader powerband.

This is how I pieced my "kit" together....
PTE sp6262 w/.68ar
Drewgo mani
PT46mm WG
Custom DP/WG DP
Custom Oil lines
etc

Driftmotion is the shit, I have bought tons of parts from them over the years.
Its up to you. I preferred to make my own kit

+1

my setup is similar aside from using a ZoonWen mani vs. the Drewgo (very similar).. I have also bought tons from DM, but this setup is probably the best you can put on a 1J.

Credit goes to Pituala, after seeing his results I couldn't see using anything else.
