I installed this kit this winter with the .58 AR. Relevant mods are:
Walbro, 440's, 2.5" IC piping with 24x9x3 intercooler, Apexi Neo, manual boost controller
Its running now but still haven't took it for a good spin since there is still snow around here and I have to get a custom midpipe made (very loud with the open downpipe)! I will let you know in a week or two how she feels.
Quality of the kit was very good and I think a very reasonable price.

Got any photos? I'll be buying this kit on Thursday with the .70 AR :)

Got a day permit and took it for a spin this weekend. Definitely pulls pretty good, I have to say I am happy with my decision to go with the .58 though. It is personal preference, but for me I wouldn't want any more lag than this. Not as responsive as the twins obviously, but the turbo comes on strong after about 3K and feels good up to redline. The 46mm tial replica with the open dump sounds awesome too!

So that turbo runs good on the stock fuel system minus the pump, upgrade? Being that you got it good with the 440s and a neo, i think ill be set running it with 550s lex and a neo right? But if it runs good on the 440s i can save some money for right now, and invest in some better tires lol. What are you running a/f wise and what boost? Recirc bov or open? just trying to get all the necessary info on what ill need when i get to this.

I wouldn't count on running a stock pump and 440's with that setup. You're just asking for trouble. you could maybe get away with 550's and no pump but I'd be worried about running lean when the pump takes a shit. If you go with a Lexus AFM you SHOULD recirc the BOV as the air is still metered from the AFM. You can only get rid of the AFM by going map based. IE: maft pro, stand-alone, etc.

EDIT:

Plus, if you are already spending the $1718.26 ( i spent something like that, give or take a few cents.) on the turbo kit why not spend a few more bucks for the pump and injectors? you can find injectors for 350 every once and a while on the buy/sell forum.

I guess I should have clarified, I am running the 60-1 1jz kit, map based so obviously no lexus afm. The walbro 255 and JDM mkIV high impedance injectors should be safe with this kit below about 400whp. I am running about 12psi right now. I'm pulling about 15% fuel across the board to get me at around 11:1 A/F. Still need to do some fine tuning but won't be making it to the dyno for a while.

Sorry i am doing the new pump also. I dont mind doing the 550s and lex, was just curious as to if the stock 440s would handle that? being that you are running stock speed density setup on 440s, how would stock afm and 440s work? i plan to go speed density in the future but for now i am going to lex.

I like it so far. In my old car, I was pushing 350rwhp at 15psi w/ no tune running really rich. I was tuning with Mines Tuned ECU and a SAFC NEO but hadn't tweaked it yet. No cams. I have the .70a/r

If you were planning on using the stock 440s and afm I'd consider getting a 57 trim upgraded ct26. Maybe if you had the 440s cleaned and flow tested you could get away at super low boost... But I wouldnt do it.

To tell you the truth... I don't really remember... I haven't driven it in awhile!!! I believe i was in full boost by 3500rpm.
if your drifting i would probably get the .58A/R. you'll have better spool. I don't drift so I'm happy with mine.
