I have the weld prostars as well, the lugs you can get at autozone for $1.99 each, I believe they are 12x1.25 I'll go look again though. If you go there and tell them you need some shank lugs and what vehicle you have they will have it!

Yeah the lugs are 12x1.5mm shank style. Yeah the greg welds require a different washers for the 5 4 3/3(gm) and 5 4 1/2(ford) bolt pattern, due since there a uni-lug. I just didn't realize it when I attempted to put the wheels on.

Btw I got rid of my runnners.I just wanted to know the info on the washer so I tell the guy I traded to about it. Ended up trading them. I am prob going to go with billet specalitys or mickey thompson wheels when I get closer to finishing my car.

looking at the op's pics i think he has open ended lugs.
should i be buying open or closed?

The rears should be open as you should really have a wheel stud that is long enough to pass through the whole lug. The fronts can be closed and still be legal.

well bad news.

the greg weld wheels are no longer available. apparently the company shut down not longer after he died. summit had a huge special on the wheels but they sold out super quick. every 15" size was $99. they have just a handful left and when those are gone, they are gone.

so anyone looking for these wheels (one of the best looking imo) you better jump on it.

The ones that are in my pics are the ones that came with the wheels that I bought from a friend with a mustang. They are the wrong lugs, they were just put on to make sure the wheel fit. My new Lugs or Shanks I got are closed end for my rears as the stud doesn't go all the way through the wheel.

nice setup guyes,

im willing to buy slick rims at my speed shop, actually i got 2x hoosier nascar tires to start (not as good as reals slicks but ill start by burning them.)

they are 26.5-8-15 size.

what would be the best wheels for them? and i think that with 8in. tires i can put 9 in. rims so i can also put 10 in. tires?

i would like a set of 26.5-10-15 m/t radials later, what wheels i would need?

Nalleywhacker, what tires are you running on the front? Bias ply or radial? Are you using tubes?

Front? the fronts are 96 cobra wheels, with some summer performace tires 17/245/45.
The rears are centerline telstars, with M/T ET Street Slicks, pretty sure there tubes.

I would just find some Welds, or Centerlines or something along those lines id get atleast a 9in wheel. so you can put some 26x10.5x15 slicks, thats the most popular size for slicks. So you'll have plenty of options for tires.
