Ok, my girlfriend lives in a old beat-up apartment... its not in terriable conditoin, but they charge as much as the bran new ones... anyway the window in her room is a sliding double pane window. one side of the window has abroken seal which is resulting in the entire pane being coated in condensation.

we had the managers look at it once and they said condensation was normal because there is a baseboard under it... .... isn't that the point of a double pane window????

we had them look at it again today and the new maintnence guy said it was 'wiithin saftey standards' wtf does that mean???

there's a very large amount of mold due to the wetness... i want to find documentation that says that there's not supposed to condensation... AT ALL can anyone lend a hand?

and don't say move cuz that's not happening :)

find the building code laws for your area..they will be different all around

check with city hall or your county seat.. also..have a building inspector come take a look..

same type of person that would check out a house before you buy it...
is this through a property management place or private lease?

If nothing else..get some househould caulk..and fix that shit....take pics...document...its very important... good luck.
