what i would like out of his thread is if someone could help me come up with a shopping list. i need to know stuff like what raidius bend should be used for the hotpipe. also could i use a 45 degree bend and a straight section to replace the 3k pipe? i want to go through the snorkle hole. anything else would be greatly appreciated, such as pics of your setup that focus on when the pipes come out of the ic and go up to the snorkle hole. thanks alot guys.

these guys seemed to have a fairly decent price. thats where i bought mine..
as for shopping list. it depends if your going with a 2.5 inch IC and if you have access to a welder and tools for fabrication?
you will need a three 2-2.5 reducers if the stock turbo and IC is used. look at cooleze? for pictures of what your getting into..

anyone want to give me an opinion on this? i'm not shure where else i wold buy mandrel bent pipes. does it look like enough to go from the intercooler to the throttle body?

I have one of those kits, well just the piping. Go to hightempsilicone.com for your couplers and t-bolt clamps a bit more but so worth it. As for the piping in those kits, they are very thin but definately weldable. I put my BOV flange on a while ago but have stalled on the project. Cheap yet I think worthy. Just my 2-cents.

Originally on my stock turbo/ic setup I just brought my stock IC piping into an exhaust shop (actually a shop that deals with Truck exhausts). I showed him the piping, told him the diameter and he duplicated it. The upper was done in mandrel mild steel piping sections that he cut and welded together (2.5") with my BOV flange welded on, $40. The lower piping was a 2.5" crush bent to duplicate the stock lower piping, $10. If you are not looking for rediculous power on the stock turbo this works fine, I gained a couple psi by just switching the pipes. HTH

And for the ebay auction, that is aluminum piping, great for weight savings but harder to work with.

yeah i think i'm gonna forget the e-bay thing, i can weld steel alittle but aluminum is beyond me. but i dont think i wanna go with crush bent, just seems alittle counter productive. but the plan for these pipes is 15psi on my 50trim ct. i think the link joel posted will get some use.
