if i get a lsd differental for the turbo version and put it in repalcement of my na will it work and will it improve anything or will it be a much longer gear ratio ruining my acceleration... right now i have the NA lsd differential and it needs to be replaced..

You can use any mk3 diff.

Depending on which year you use like 3.91 or 3.73 will depend on how much you will notice it.

If your n/a id look for a 4.30 lsd or a 4.11 torsen from the jza70(non us) or a 3.91. I had a 3.91 in my n/a and it wasnt bad.

What years did the 3.91 come in? I have an 87 turbo, not sure on the ratio though.

87-88 turbo had 3.91. 89+ turbo had 3.73. N/a had 4.30 open and 4.30 lsd.

im thinking about the 3.91 for highway travel gas mileage benefits, does it effect acceleration all that bad?

Mine was ok with it. I did a lot of hwy driving and after all its only a n/a.

exactly, i also do alot of hwy driving, im not really looking for an insanity of speed thats why i keep the na. the car is fast enough for me
