my stock ct-26 has a large chip on one compressor blade. now it has the death whine in first. so i'm thinking of getting a 50 trim ct from PT. thinking about the 50 trim because i only want mild hp increases and reliabilaty. i searched and found a thread that listed the basic mods that you must have for an upgraded ct(fuel pump, 550's, maft, ect).
Question: if i buy a 50 trim and run low boost(8-10 psi, for now anyway) can i put off buying the supporting mods untill the money fairy visits? or will the different compressor drive my ecu crazy?
also does anyone have anything to say about buying turbos from PT? good or bad expiriances and such?
