I know what u guys are going to say but I'll ask anyway. Let say I can buy a set of good pistons cheap. Is it worth boring a motor 40 over just to make these pistons work? ur thoughts!

just dont get crazy and dont buy cheap pistons.

I'm rebuilding right now, and I'm going from stock bore 83ish mm to .020" over.

They're right... you're reducing the amount of times you'll be able to rebuild if you scuff up the bores undoubtedly when you blow this one up.

HOWEVER.

say you came across some JE's .040 with rings for like 300-400 new or close to it... then the cost of a new block may warrant the trade off.
