It looks like some kind of filtering system going up to the turbo. Can anyone confirm this and where I can get one. I searched summit but they only had the inline earls filters which I rather not use. Thanks

That didnt even cross my mind because mine is on the other side. I heard those inline filters have clogged up before and caused turbos to go bad. How often do you have to change it?

I clean mine every oil change (2,000kms) if people are getting enough stuff in the filter to clog it then its kind of doing its job...no? This is like any other filter on your car it needs to cleaned and cheanged.

ive seen it go bad on non bb turbos w/o clogging because some restrict oil flow (my BB turbo came with one on it)

Did you decide to take it off?

no :icon_razz not for a bb turbo, i really think it is used to restrict oilflow to the turbo as well and his turbo being non BB ran out of oil

So, I have a gt35r bb turbo I'm installing with a -4an line and a restrictor fitting. Its ok/recommended to throw an inline filter on the line?
