This has been posted before... and I seem to recall thinking at the time that the description was a complete fabrication. I'd love to see a caliper on the wheel to confirm it's size, but I highly doubt it's the size advertised.

CT's shaft is bigger than a garret's, it's not the shaft, it's a huge ass wheel in a small housing causing surge.

I've been told several times that the CT's shaft is tiny when compared to other turbos. Mind you, I've never pulled one apart to look at it, so I might be a victim of misinformation......

Ya, I've been told the same. However, I've also been told by Jon, former MDC guy, who has actually opened up both, that this is entirely untrue. And I tend to trust him, so...
