I bought a rebuilt ct-26 several years ago with a few miles on it and it has been in storage. Since then, I do not remember what outfit rebuilt it or what the trim was. All I can remember is that it was a "slight" upgrade, so it's probably not a 60 or 57 trim.

I copied this list from SUPRASTORE cause it seems to be the most extensive list of trims I could find.

46 Trim: 41lb/min or 410hp

50 Trim: 47lb/min or 470hp

54 Trim: 45lb/min or 450hp

57 Trim: 49lb/min or 490hp

60 Trim: 50lb/min or 500hp

60-1: 61lb/min or 500++hp

Is there any physical differences between these that I can look for to ID the specific trim?

You won't be able to see the difference from the housing, no. You MIGHT see a difference if you look at a stock and a larger trim one side by side if you look at the fins, but it would depend on how big of a trim the new one is.

On the other hand, I have seen a few that have been stamped with the new trim size on the turbo housing. That would be the only easy way I could think of identifying it without measuring, and it's definitely not going to be on every single rebuilt CT26.

iirc stock has 5 blades and the upgraded have 6 blades + the inlet will be bored out. you could measure it to find out for sure.

also your not going to get 500hp out of a ct.

i imagine that the comp housing will be bored out to fit the larger wheel,

here is a picture of my ct26 and ct26 57trim side by side.. it may help you identify what ever it is...

Thanks for the responses. Hopefully it is stamped, I'll take a look see. I already looked for a tag, but I didn't think about it being stamped.

i have a 47 trim wheel, but the blade size is 2.1875 inducer and 3.1875 exducer which is wierd, wheel is much bigger than stock, but pretty much same trim.

Thats larger than a 57 trim. Appears to be 60-1 or larger.... Although the 60-1 has almost nearly vertical fins.
