Hey guys, have any of you tried to modify the stock CT 26 turbo on the 7m to direct the flow through the cap off? It appears there's almost no flow through pressure those tubes are so small and on the same side.
Any suggestions? New everything and greddy ebc. Cometic 2 mm, the works.

1 hose goes from upper water neck and the other goes from the lower water neck. So no they go from different spots. And the coolant is only there to help cool it down more for longer life.

Sorry I was not clearer, there is a "cap off" on the other side of the coolant passageway in the CHRA. I was just trying to improve the turbo efficiency/bearing life by using both passageways on the turbo in stead of having coolant flowing in and out from one side.

when properly rebuilt and balanced with clear drains and feeds the turbo life is long. coolant temp is still operating temp so even making in and out on different sides wouldnt change anything. Its a 1980's turbo not much you can do unless you start adding bigger wheels
