Creaky interior panels

I fixed all the rattles, buzzes etc and now it's quiet enough that I can hear the interior panel that surrounds the little windows in the back creak if I go over a bump hard enough or sideways across a steep driveway.

And it's a hardtop, which I wouldn't think wouldn't flex enough to make the interior panels creak. I'm thinking about rubber mounting them, but I don't know if that will fix it.

Anybody got this problem or fixed it.

maybe strut bar to minimise the chassis flex? might help

I've got one on the front (does nothing as far as I can tell).

But, it makes sense that the rear shock brace would make a real difference in chassis rigidity.

My car is a hardtop, and I am shocked that it has enough chassis flex to make the plastic interior panels creak.

Makes you wonder if the platform is as strong as most of us believe it to be.

it's strong, honestly I think the targas are stronger with the top on than a true hardtop...

Some of the interior panels had felt pads to stop squeeks, they eventually dryrot and fall apart and then it squeeks... find them and replace em (easy to get felt in a fabric store)
