cracked turbo

My CT26 has a crack in the turbine housing between the wastegate port and turbine that I noticed, what kind of problems would come from this and would the turbo need to be rebalanced if I replace it? I have a spare CT26 that I disected since it was siezed and came with my JDM engine. Ive tried searching for info on this but came up empty handed. Thanks.

its on the car and bolted up. Its a PITA to get it back off, so I dont want to take it back off to take pics. its cracked between the wastegate port and the turbine.

You will loose boost if you keep it. Replace the turbine housing with the other you have. Dont forget to mark the casing to keep your angle. Or simply install the complet turbo.

the way i see it, you have to take it out anyways so post some pics!

i have crack on my housing havn't had any ill effects yet... if it gets worse you'll notice that your going to be losing power then replace. shouldn't have any damage from running it other than loosing boost.

Most ct26 have cracked over there. Especially the high mileage one.
