Im looking into getting some forged pistons for my 1jz, but im not sure what bennifit they would have for me. Right now ill just be running a stinger and basic parts upgrade w/ 272 cams and stock twins, but i am saving for a 67mm turbo of some sort. My future power goals are around 500whp...
I have the motor completely disassembled and ready to be rebuilt, so im trying to buy what ever i need to do so in the right fasion. Would it be very bennificail for me to use forged pistons, or is it more or less a waste of $700?
Any input would be great.
