Hey, just let me say this forum is so helpful in getting things done on my Supra...
My next small issue is the large cooling fan. My problem is when I accelerate it gets louder and runs faster, So when starting off from a stop and give it gas it sounds like a friggen 4runner, last time I check it was a Supra, so if anyone could give me some advice or tricks to getting the fan to be more quiet, that would be great.
I need to hear the motor when I hit the gas.............not the fan !!

Sounds like your fan clutch is toast. You should be able to hear it for 30-45 sec after start, then it should quiet down. The clutch for an NA and turbo are different BTW.

is there a special procedure for giving it oil, unfortunately I have a Haynes manual, could it be in there? As far as the radiator is concerned - do I have to remove it to properly access the fan. Lastly is there a specific type oil for this clutch? Has anyone else had this kind of issue before, or is my car just possessed..?
