Comp Cam Springs Question

Hey guys,

While doing my 7m refresh I've decided to do the comp cam spring upgrade. A question to the fellow 7m'ers who have completed this change. The seat or shim or "washer with a lip" type thing that goes under the stock spring, do you keep that in place? It almost feels as though the comp spring is too big but with fit with some coaxing. Unfortunately I don't have any pics with me but if there is confusion I can take some tomorrow!

Yes. Keep that in place. It keeps the spring from digging into the head.

I remember them being snug as well so it's not just you.

Yeah, Comp springs sort of 'click' into those seats.
