make sure they are plugged in. test continuity from the plug to the pin at the wireharness where it plugs into the ECU.
This goes along with what Lagged said but be sure to check the condition of the plug too. I tested what lagged did, but when I plugged it in, the plug itself was in such bad condition, that it didn't make good contact with the knock sensor.
aaannd when you figure out that your wires/ plugs are FUBAR, you do this:

and GET NEW PLUGS. it's worth the extra $20 for piece of mind.
the SOGI re-wire really isnt that difficult, just set aside a few hours and have at it!
