code 42,43

It says on trms the 42 code is a vehicle speed sensor signal and 43 start signal, I tried to search but nothing really came up so if anybody had these same codes could you point me to right direction

Just what it says. 42 means the speed sensor located in your speedometer isn't working or it is but the signal isn't reaching the ECU. Speedo working? Cable broke? If not run the cruise control diagnostics as a quick way to check the sensor. See the TSRM.

43 means the start signal isn't reaching the ECU. That signal comes from a wire connected to the starter circuit. Push start the car recently? Anyway, first clear the codes and see if they come back...

I don't see where he stated the cable was broken. And it's way above 40 mph for TEMS. Thanks for chiming in though Grasshopper.
