Is there a way you can tell if a clutch is still in good useable condition. The PO said before the engine died he put a new clutch in the car. I am almost done assembling this JDM engine I got. I have a new throw out bearing for it but my well is running dry and if this clutch is ok I would like to use that.

How much clutch material left on the disk before you hit the rivets?

Well here is the disc.

But I realised last night that it appears to be bent in the middle. One side of the center is sticking out alot further then the other. I am sure its not suppose to be like this.

Hmm.... Looking at it the second time, it seems as if it's too much on one side :).
So maybe yeah, it's bent.
Imagine some meat on this thing though... maybe it'll help you.
