Ok, I have an automatic, and today I noticed the light that shows what gear you are in was out. So I took everything out and was messing with the bulb, trying to get it to work. Long story short, after a little bit my dash cluster lights went out. The "ECT" and cruise control lights [and the CEL, air bag, head lights, reverse lights, etc.] lights all still work. It's just the gauges.
It's not the actual bulbs so I was thinking it was a short. I took the gauges out and I don't see anything scorched or out of place.
I'm not very electrical savvy so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of some tests or something to do.
Any help would be great!
