clevite pistons....any info on them>>?

I went to this speed shop , i 4 got the name of it, but the guy was selling clevite pistons for a 7m. He told me that he got them of a customer who wanted them installed in his motor but then he traded him his car for one of his mr2s.

I can get the clevite pistons for really cheap there std size. The owner does not want them any more. I was just wondering if there any good or not? thanks

Clevite pistons?

Clevite = MAHLE.

They make parts for OEM and aftermarket.

In otherwords they are as good as OEM at the very least.
They make both Hypereutectic pistons and forged pistons so which is he selling?

Just be aware that if they are forged. You might want to further investigate

STD size sounds some warning bells.

Rarely will you find a STD size 7M bore that will hone up for the new rings and be round, true and small enough to give the correct piston to bore clearence.

You'll end up building a Blowby, Piston Slapping PoS
