FWIW, I never braced mine... Just slapped a GT on it, cut off the flange it came with and welded on a F38 TiAL.

Yup, same here.
Did 564 with a single walbro.

GT4088 and TiAL F38

Been using & have used XSPower manifold(s) for a while.
Absolutely ZERO complaints other than clearance issues with, well, "big" turbo's. ;)

I had some clearance issues with the compressor housing hitting the manifold,
but nothing a spacer couldn't fix.

This comment will not apply with everything coming out of China,
But the market and demand of "knock-off" parts is nothing like it used to be years ago.
As badly as I hate to admit it, some things coming from over seas sell and are very successful.

There's an astronomical number of people running these with great success...
Many with 700+HP figures. ;)

edit: With no additional reinforcement, a 50lb turbo hasn't fallen off of it yet. :biglaugh:

There is 2 china maniflods

SS auto is the crappy one with the bad welds that fall apart.

ZHOUSHAN RACING makes a really good quality one that people have the fewest problems with

There manifold is around ~$100-$120 & there downpipe is around $60 but you must ship them in bulk then go through broker fees & import inspection wait times

Look at the work they do its not bad at all
you could buy 10-11 manifolds to the price of one US custom manifold.

Mine is from SSautochrome, and it's fine.

They're all the same, they all come from the same place. QC is not stringent to tolerance because of their volume and price.

How long have you been using yours?

Wow, so why do these manifolds get such a bad rep? Do you drive your car hard or you just baby it? How much HP are you putting down? Did you brace it like the fellow members have been saying?

I've run one on the 7MGTE and one on the 2JZGE. Both were SS autocrhome/power SX Both were amazing.

Seems unanimous. People who HAVE ACTUALLY USED THEM love them. For functionality, you can't beat them.

Other questions worth asking...

Has anyone noticed an increase in performance over the stock mani?

Anyone have dyno numbers? I guess the 'Butt' dyno would work too. ;)
