The short answer is life the hood, find the diagnostic box located behind the battery, open it and put a piece if wire in Te1 and e1, turn the key to the on position, read the number of "blinks" (blink blink ......... blink blink blink blink) etc.

To read the blinks there will be a long pause at the beginning, blink blink, would be 2,half as long of a pause as at first, blink blink blink blink thats 4, so 2 and 4 is 24.

thanks for the help guys but the ecu was reset and I started and drove it and got no cel's? O well, it's cold, it needs a afm adapter/filter I think that might sum it up, o and plus my bov is not recirculated.
