Making progress but nothing too pic worthy. Degreased the subframe and stripped a few other bits.

Also some things came together and I Sold my Evo X last weekend. An Evo 8 was my Dream Car for the better part of high school, along with the MKIV that is. The X was a extremely impressive car and I feel very fortunate that I was able to live out that dream at this stage in my life. It was one of, if not the, most confidence inspiring cars I have ever driven and would duck into s corner as soon the thought crossed your mind. I also have to say that while the smooth rev of an inline 6 will always hold my heart that 4cylinder 4B11T's angry growl from 5-8k also did something to you. I will miss it but it was time to move on and free up room for something else in the garage. Also does hurt that I made a few k on the car and drive it for 2.5 years.

She will be missed but some exciting things are coming.....

Slow but steady progress. More cleaning and fabricating a few bits. Also squirreled a bit and got this thing running.

Had a drain pipe fail in my house and flood my office that I was just getting ready to finish with paint and flooring. Now I have to start over on drywall work so that will take some time away. Not excited about it. Also was hoping to do rock, paint and lighting in the garage before winter when I can't easily pull cars and stuff out.

On a much better note I am excited to introduce the new addition to the garage. Meet Jazmin

It was a lot of driving with the kids to pick her up, but was a good trip. My daughter loved riding in the Evo and of course demanded to ride home with me.

This changes up the plans for my 89 a bit and also opens up some cool new options.

Bit of progress on Delilah, wheel bearings and seals showed up so I disassembled the hubs best I could. I could not get the outer races out so I will have to drop them off at a machine shop.

Attachments aren't working at the moment so picks will come later.

Yeah I completely rebuilt all my wheel hubs not too long ago.

It would have been impossible without my press.

Make sure the machine shop has the printed TSRM procedure.
Don't want them messing up something :D

The fronts are straightforward.
The rears if I remember right, the inner seal can only be installed after the inner dust shield / metal flange is removed.
EPC calls it the deflector dust #1

Finally getting around to pics

Only doing the front hubs for now, was able to pull the inner races and shafts but could not get the outers. The ram on the press was only good for 7k lbs. Wouldn't cut it.

Also is anyone able to see any of the pics early in my build thread? They showed for me on a work pc the other day but are photo bucket so it surprised me. Need to move them all but dreading it and not sure which provider to go with now.

Just to verify, you did remove the outer snap ring holding the inner race into the knuckle?
The press just did not have enough force to remove the bearing?

Yes, definitely pulled the snap rings. My dad and I built our press, it should easily handle 20 tons or more but he decided to fit it with a long ram for some of the motorcycle forks he works on. It will only put out about 6k lbs. I think this is the first job it hasn't been able to handle.

Ok good :D

Yeah these old parts really let go with a bang sometimes.
I maxed out my 20 ton press not too long ago with a seized part.
Didn't think I would be able to get it off but finally put some heat to it with a torch.
Rust is a bastard.
