Central Locking

Well how about that... not one thread on SM mentioning central locking.

Just great, because mine is broke. It's been broken since I got the car but now I want it to work!

I see there's a few tests I can do from the TSRM, testing each wire coming into the central locking box in the drivers side door, is that all I can test or is there something that 'usually' goes wrong with central locking in a MKIII?

The central locking system is pretty simple and works so well I've transplanted it into other cars. Whats the problem with yours?

Umm... well... it doesn't work

If I unlock one door with the key, the other doesn't unlock. Same for locking the doors.

If I push the 'lock/unlock' button on my drivers side door, nothing happens.

In relation to central locking, does anyone know what type of central locking we use? negative trigger or pos?

No I don't hear anything. Nothing happens at all.

I will investigate I just haven't had time yet.
