Catch can hose collapsed

whats the worst case scenario here? lines were run from the valve covers to an oil catch can, seems that the hose collapsed completely right above the catch can.
I'm not sure that it would cause any damage, but figured I would ask here.

actually looks like hose became super deformed right above the catch can, as it stayed collapsed when it was disconnected- took it apart and saw no blockages or anything that may have fouled it- cant for the life of me figure out what has happened here. Hose became super soft then stuck together? Figure it still vented some, but not nearly as much as normal.
Been a heck of a week for this car, and it only went around the block once.

Shouldnt be a problem as long as nothing was clogged. And even if it was your dipstick would have popped out or your mains would have blown out which would have been a massive oil leak for the mains.
