CAS mod for MS-II (Complete Writeup)

Just finished documenting a conversion from a stock CAS to a 24-1 trigger for a MegaSquirt. Thought I would share the writeup, as I couldn't find anything 7M-GTE specific before I started.

Nice man. I would rather get rid of the CPS and plug the hole and run a 36-1 EDIS 6 setup. This would be a bit cheaper setup though.

This needs to be moved to standalones section and stickied.

Does the ground off tooth have to be aligned with the gear for the cam?

Not in the car yet, but it works great on the bench. And yes the ground off tooth needs to be 10* BTDC, or however far BTDC you tell the MS it is at least. I went with 10* but the MS is pretty damn flexible in that respect.

Yes as long as it supports 24-1 missing tooth wheel.

yea im def. not the most knowledgeable on the aem (or any ems) but im sure it would be able to do this....i'm having trouble with my cps now so this could come in handy.
