On Suprasport they have both of those intercoolers. I was wondering which one would be the better one as far as easy installation and performance. I'm using Cooleeze piping.

Cooleeze piping is made specific for either the cartech or spearco.. If you have a stock IC then I would go with the Spearco.. Or modify the pipes.

those are both good and have similar performance. if you don't care about using knock off stuff it looks like DriftMotions got some decent stuff for a good price.

Have you bought the cooleeze piping already? there are two versions of it, one's for the '87 and the rest are for the newer design IC (it may have been '88 and down though, not sure exactly...)

I have both the cooleze and the Cartech IC. Now I wish I didn't do it, the IC pipes didn't fit right, had to fabricate a whole new lower pipe and modify the top one to make it fit, over all not worth it. as far as the IC, nothing bad so far, performs well, but now will have to dump it along with the IC pipes since I am going FFIM. Keep that in mind, if you think down the road you will go FFIM, then save your money.

Your so right about the cooleze pipeing ...I had fitment problems with both cooleze innercooler pipeing and exhaust the exhaust flanges leaked even with 2 gaskets(customer service non existent would not even spring for the gasket:3d_frown: ). Save your money.Go to a exhaust shop.Hell I used a SS ebay downpipe and the cooleze innercooler pipeing to make mine fit properly.Later Barry

I dont know, I have had great luck with my cooleeze pipes. No fitment problems at all. I have the downpipe from cooleeze as well and no problem there either.

The people with fitment problems ordered the wrong IC piping kit for their intercooler. Like I said, the stock design of the IC in the Supra changed in either '88 or '89.

Did you ever try contacting Greg Pickett (owner of cooleeze) about your problem? He's a really easy guy to work with and compensated my cousin on his problem with his hardpipes.
