"buy USA" arent most of auto buyers doing exactly that, being that most foriegn cars are made in the USA or North America now. I just showed my dad this, and he says that the same thing happend in the late 70's and 80's in Detroit, when the factories started closing down and people blamed the Japanese. I dunno if you can blame people buying Japanese cars at that time. American cars were just so awful, Jeremy Clarkson summed it up best.

That so fucked up though people sink so low at times like these. I just think and hope that the motorsports world will pick itself up again after this is all over...I was wanting to see how well the new STi would perform in WRC 2009 too..:(

It's an example of what happens when you try and regulate a sport too much, it gets too expensive for the small guys to compete, and then it gets too expensive for the big guys as well.

Hopefully they'll learn from it, as rally is pretty damn cool.
